In front of a packed crowd at historic Hayward Field, Lukas Verzbicas, the current national cross country champion, took down the high school 2 mile record. His time of 8:29.46 trimmed about 5 seconds off the previous mark of German Fernandez.

Kevin Liao is your typical running nerd, following the sport for years before starting Spiked Up, Psyched Up.
