Billy Nelson opens 2011 with 1500m win at Mt. SAC

Day two of the Mt. SAC Relays saw 2008 Olympian Billy Nelson open up his season with a win in the open section of the 1500 meters.  His time of 3:42.49 was a personal best and good enough to defeat an field of primarily college runners.

After a stint with the Oregon Track Club Elite in Eugene, Nelson is back training in Boulder while serving as an assistant coach with the University of Colorado.
